What is Funtonia.com?

Funtonia is a wireless services company that supplies ringtones and other products to cellular phone users around the world. With more than a half of a million real MP3 tones, thousands of wallpapers and attractive subscription programs, Funtonia has quickly built a large user base and a high conversion rate.

What exactly is the Funtonia.com Affiliate Program?

The Affiliate Program is how you make money from us! Promote Funtonia.com by placing our banners and ads on your site and we'll pay you a generous commission.

How does the Funtonia.com Affiliate Program work?

Simply sign up and place one of our ads on your site. We'll keep track of how many paying members you send us each month and pay you a commission of their membership fees. And it doesn't matter when your users pay. Even if they use the site for six months before becoming a member, you'll still receive your commission.

How much money can I expect to earn?

That depends on you. The more users you send us, the more you'll earn. We currently sell two packages that cost $15 and $25. You'll receive up to $6 for every user who purchases a $15 package and $10 for every user who purchases a $25 package according to the following rate:

Does my site qualify for your Partner programs?

As long as you have a site that does not contain or promote illegal activity or materials, you are welcome to become one of our Affiliate Partners. There is no minimum traffic level.

Do you accept non-English traffic?

At the moment, we pay for traffic from the US, UK, Canada and Australia.

How do I post a banner on my site?

We offer a selection of dynamic and static ads appropriate for all sorts of sites. To post a banner on your site, click Promo Materials from your affiliate interface and choose from dynamic ads or static ads. Each banner comes with a piece of code. Simply copy and paste this code onto each page that you want to display the ad.

How can I track which pages are bringing me the highest revenues?

Each webmaster receives a unique ID number, which is visible in the URL.

For example:

To use this ID to track the ads on each page simply add your own identifying Keyword to the link.

For example:
http://www.funtonia.com/100009Keyword1/

Can I choose where to send my users?

Yes, you can target your ads to specific sections of Funtonia.com by simply changing the link. So the publisher of a 50 Cent site, for example, could send users to our 50 Cent ringtones by simply adding the exact URL before the Affiliate ID.

You can even send users to selected search results. So if you wanted to send users to songs about soul, check the results on the site first by entering that term into our search box, then use the following line as your affiliate link, replacing "Keyword" with your search term:

Or you can even send people to artists who start with a particular letter if you want.

In short, you can send your users to any page on Funtonia.com you'd like.

Can I put up your banners on multiple sites?

Yes, we encourage affiliates to promote the same link on as many pages and/or sites as they like. The more banners you put up the more money you make. Remember to add an identifying tag to each link so that you can keep track of your stats.

Can I market my affiliate site through search engines?

Sure, but you can't use the phrase "Funtonia" in your URL or use the Funtonia keyword (that would compete with our marketing and wouldn't benefit anyone but Google.) So if your affiliate URL is www.funtonia.com/100000/ you'd need to advertise with another domain and send users from there. Your marketing cannot include direct links to Funtonia.com or use linking systems or copyrighted material, or include Funtonia in the "to" field of an email.

How often is my stats page updated?

Every minute of every day. All stats are updated in real time.

When do I get the cash?

Before the end of the following month, provided you've earned more than $100. If you haven't yet earned $100, we'll roll your account into the following month. We can pay by check or PayPal and can also send wire transfers for amounts over $1000.

How do I keep track of the money I'm earning?

Once you have been accepted as an Affiliate, you will be given a login and password that gives you access to the Affiliate Center. Members can keep track of the number of clicks generated, the packages their users bought and of course, the amount of cash earned.
